From the Desk of Teacher-In Charge
Hello students! Greetings of the session and a very warm welcome to BLC .
The questions to discuss are mainly of two aspects_ why you would study law ?and why at BLC ? Law is the dynamic subject that helps you to secure knowledge in different branches of studies, namely Political Science, Sociology, History, Philosophy Economics and so on. Like literature ,the mirror of society ,law reflects society too. It is the subject that helps to frame the different policies of administration of a country. Apart from the aspirant of honorable judges, learned lawyers and other respected legal stakeholders, the students who would like to be an IAS, IPS, State Civil Service officer or a doctor, an engineer, a corporate person ,a politician or anything else ,needs to study this subject . Actually law is not only a subject , it is a mechanism, an instrument to run a society. So everyone ,irrespective of male and female old and young salaried and self employed need to study law.
Where Legal education centers are mushrooming in our state as well as in the country, why will students choose BLC, Santiniketan ?
Points are several –
- Because of its environment
- Because of its infrastructure
- Because of the facilities
- Because of the academic curriculum- the list goes long.
I myself have experienced that it is one of those kind of self finance colleges where fees structure is moderate and interest of the students are valued extremely .That’s why in its 14 years of journey, the college hasn’t witnessed any kind of alarming students’ agitation. The wonderful chemistry of ‘ teacher student relationship’is constantly hammered and explored by BLC. It also wants to explore the aristocracy of law. Different National activities are organised to research on different issues of law; these opportunities ultimately help the students to groom themselves up as a promising future professional. So if you are really interested in law ,trust BLC once without any hesitation ; invest, according to your course, 3 or 5 years of your time here and enjoy the out-turn for the rest of your life.
Believe in yourself and have faith in good efforts.
